WHEN AND WHERE IS THE CONFERENCE?

  • June 16-19th hosted at the Westin Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA.

How do I book transportation to/from the San Diego Airport to the hotel?

  • The most convenient process is to book your preferred car service of choice (Uber, Lyft).

IS THERE A COVID-19 PROTOCOL FOR THE EVENT FOR ATTENDEES?

  • The IHA trusts that our attendees will be following best health practices. We ask that people don't attend our conference if they have been exposed to illness and/or experiencing symptoms of any kind. The IHA respects personal choices regarding masks and vaccinations for all staff and attendees, as such we will not be violating HIPPAA by asking for proof of any medical procedures to attend the conference.

Which Airport is the closest to the Westin Resort & Spa?

  • San Diego Airport (SAN)
  • Distance from Resort: 34 miles (drive time approximately 35 mins)

Is there a hotel room block?

  • Yes. The IHA has a complete buyout of the hotel at a discounted rate with the Westin.

DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

  • Only if you do not intend to use Uber or Lyft and/or plan to do sightseeing.

WHAT IS THE DAILY FLOW OF THE CONFERENCE?

  • Thursday afternoon the conference will kick off with afternoon Keynote Speaker and official Welcome Reception to follow.
  • Friday-Saturday sessions will start promptly at 8:00 am with the featuring Keynote Speaker(s). Coffee and Tea will be available before entry into the conference meeting Main Stage.
  • Breakfast to follow the keynote session with the regular scheduled program throughout the day, refer to the Schedule for more details and timing.
  • Saturday night will be the conference closing ceremony featuring the IHA Gala (7:00 pm – 10:30 pm)
  • Sunday morning brunch provided as part of the IHA Members Symposium.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

  • Conference dress is comfortable casual based on your preference.

MAY I BRING MY SPOUSE/KIDS?

  • For each paid attendee to the conference we offer the ability to add a Conference Guest for an additional cost. Guests will have access to the exhibitor hall and share all meals with the group.

WHAT ARE MY ON-SITE FOOD OPTIONS?

  • Included as part of your conference registration we will provide (organic when available) healthy meals (Thursday Night - Reception, Friday - Breakfast & Lunch, Saturday - Breakfast , Lunch & dinner). We have worked with the Westin to curate special options (GF, DF, Vegan, Paleo, Keto) for those with dietary restrictions or preference. For those with custom or specific dietary restrictions, we recommend bringing your own food or snacks to avoid any issues.
  • The Westin has a market, gift shop and as well as various restaurants within a short taxi-ride of the hotel.

REFUNDS

  • Tickets are nonrefundable and transferrable to another person for same event.
